Richard E. Haycraft

Richard E. "Pete" HayCraft, 59, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:35 A.M., Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the Herrin Hospital.
Pete was an assembly welder for Joy Mfg. of Mt. Vernon. He was a Pentecostal and a member of the UMWofA and the International Boilermakers Union.
Pete was born October 10, 1944 at Tamaroa, IL the son of Alfred Earl and Frances May (Weisel) HayCraft.
He married Kathleen A. Kellems on August 17, 1962 at Perryville, MO and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, three daughters- Tammy Harris and Jeff Wright of Tamaroa, Holly Dixon and husband Kevin of Makanda, Milly Mason and Paul Watts of Tamaroa, one son- Richard Earl HayCraft II and wife Lisa of Perryville, MO, one sister- Virginia Moss of Tamaroa, twenty grandchildren- Elizabeth, Miranda, Zania, Caley, Josh K., Amanda, Kevin, Jacob, Alicia, Alaina, Joshua, Joseph, Tiffany, Katie, Jessica, Kathy, Beth, Richard III, Emily, Josh M., three great grandchildren- Kendra, Skyler, Dylan, close friends of the family- Wanda and Mike Montgomery and Mike and Patty Davison all of Tamaroa, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother- J.C. HayCraft and a sister- Edna Pitman.
Funeral services were at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Joe Davison officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
